Thank you all - I won't be entering my car.........
I will always remember your excellent advice, taken a Buxton and applied perfectly at Newmarket. 
'If you want a great place to park at a MOG then Enter the Competitions' (Only Innovations for me but it worked perfectly)  Was the innovation on how to get a great parking spot because that is a cunning innovation and would win in my book

The best parking is always by taking part. I might enter innovations again after my dismal showing at Buxton in 2010.......

Well done Dave, you will be a hard act to follow.

I my opinion, you were robbed that day, Dave. Well Frank, the first and most important lesson to learn about competing in any club event is the ability to lose gracefully. It took me a while to perfect this, but I had plenty of practice in my early days of doing concours...........
