My 2007 +4 has seat belt retraction problems, so I decided to get them replaced.
However Morgan have no stock left of the belts and will not be getting any new stock. It apparently is due to Homologation issues!
They have stock of the current build seat belts but they have never fitted those to older cars and believe a lot of mods would be required.
I am not sure when the change was made to the current belt design but it could be at late as 2012.
I am going to use a seat belt repair company (via Allon White) for mine, this post is just a heads up if you need to replace in the future.

I replaced both of mine on my 2011 +4 18 minths ago. After much agro searching and phone calls to various morgan approved dealers and MMC themselves i went to FDTS (susan tayor) 01932342043. All up bill was £150 which incuded new mechanisms and changing the webbing from black to red to match the upholstery leather and hotshot return postage. I can't speak highly enough of the service i received from her biggest problem was getting her to send me a bill! I believe some of the MMC dealers use her. I 'm not related and have no interest jn the company

What is the retraction problem? Same problem on my 2012 plus 4. Surely a safety issue?

Basically the spring was not pulling the belt back in, you had to hand feed it directly into the rear parcel shelf slot.
I had an advisory note on the MOT.
In my case the seat belt reels had been fitted out of square to the slot in the parcel shelf (or had moved), when corrected they were fine.

Do get someone to check the plastic guide, just forward of the inertia reel. These are very challenging to reach, but worth checking. One of mine cracked, initially the belt was slow to retract and then eventually jammed. The belt operates fine without this particular guide and once removed the retraction was back to normal.
