Good call Ashley!
The real challenge with the Plus 8 is that the exhaust tailpipe is about 18" behind the rear wheels. This means all the road crud is liberally splattered over the tailpipe!

If a barrier can't be made, then the discerning owner would wipe down after every trip out with a moist rag. I prefer WD40 as a cheap wipe clean assistant on the exhaust.
I judge a man by the cut of his exhaust. It's like having perfectly shiny shoes...................

The wheels on a trad also throw up crud onto the exhaust. Tar-like depisits are removed with tar remover, basically solvent softening of the tar that is then wiped off. Polishing is straight forward but some tight areas round the hangers.
Ashley.......what wax do you reccomend for hot exhausts?
