Just took my new car for a test drive. Absolutely brilliant ! It took me about a year to make up my mind and finally get the order placed . This was a replacement for a 2010 v6 roadster. A difficult decision because every 3.7 I have driven has been different, and some issues seemed insurmountable . Rev hang worried me after driving a 2016 car which was badly affected but I have to say it's not apparent on this 2017 model and I haven't had to pay £2000 for an upgraded ECU (mysteriously Morgan have stopped offering the option) Power Steering was another big issue. Some of the earlier 3.7s seemed to have no feedback in the steering. I can confidently say that's a problem Morgan seem to have sorted. I have had Suplex fitted ( another big decision because my previous Roadster had the Rutherford set up) it feels very well balanced . I took it out on a wet road yesterday and whilst not pushing it , I can report that the car behaves itself ( again unlike some of the non suplex Roadsters I have driven where the back would slide even in a straight line in the wet ) I have also made lots of cosmetic changes to the car. This is what we like about Morgan's , there are so many ways to make the car personal . No I didn't like the dashboard much, with its central dials, but we have sexed it up a bit with some carbon fibre inserts from Wolf and a beautiful stainless steel steering wheel cowling from Gremany . Also fitted a sound system and of course , sports exhaust with 4 outlet pipes , beautifully tuned by Williams Automobiles whose sales director,Paul Tovey ,has expertly guided me thorough the maze . Superb service! Thank you Paul.

Hehe that's you in trouble fitting a sound system to the Roadster, the wax cylinder folks will have you on a fizzer!
Be interesting to follow how you find the car over a period of time especially compared to your original Roadster (I also have the Rutherford setup - as mine was was a bouncy thing on it's OEM set up)

I didn't like the steering on my roadster ,I found the 3.5 turns rack too low geared So changed it for a 3 turns and now it's much sharper .No rev hang either. I drove a Roadster with sports exhaust and twin pipes at Williams last year I was impressed by the sound ,but the car drove so badly , particularly the clutch being so low and like a switch that it put me off the whole idea . I just hope they sorted it out before they sold it . Still looking at the twin tail pipe option though.

Collected my new Roadster on Sat 1st July trading in my Plus 4. Went to Wales on Monday and did some great drives including the Elan Valley. Then up to Manchester and back home with 830 miles on the clock. The car is brilliant and has more power than a powerful thing on a powerful day. I like the power steering but the rev hang needs sorting out ASAP. It's back to Ledgerwood on Monday for it's first service so I'll have to see what they do about it. BTW I have the Aero Racing exhaust which now has round tailpipes (Phil L says it's the first he's seen) and it sounds fantastic. John

JJR: congrats on what must be a real joy to drive! But please don´t be tooooooo optimistic about sorting the rev-hang....... And you know what all of us are waiting for now? Right:
It doesn´t matter how fast it becomes, but how it becomes fast. 2015 Roadster 3.7

John Tell Phil how much him selling me my Roadster has changed my life..! I fear I may be hooligan material now due to that sports exhaust..

I thought Adrian had worked with the factory to resolve Roadster rev-hang problem? Was there not a re-map issued?
