It's always been discouraged unless the owner has paid for a build book. Makes sense to me. News to me as it certainly wasn't last year

Thanks for pursuing a solution to this problem with some bevel gearboxes Lauren. I have more faith in Garage 56 producing a solution in the near term than Morgan. It would be good to hear something other than the screaming bevel gearbox, particularly when at motorway speeds. Although it screams, it doesn't seem to get any worse (or better) as the mileage increases, almost up to 12,000 now, 10,000 of them on this box. In a way I hope it keeps screaming, if it stops then something must have broken.

Just to think, in the early days Morgan assured us all that it would quieten down after 1000 miles. Some hope!

Can you check on build 84099 too? It's Sport black with a mulberry (dark red) interior and the ugly US headlight setup. It looked nearly done two weeks ago and I haven't heard anything from the dealer since. Thanks !!!
Just found out that my car is done and on it's way to the shipper!

It does quieten down after 1000 miles, it makes you deaf so you can't hear it!

Hopefully Mark Evans can give us an update.
Last year September 2016, during the M3W Treffen in Grindelwald where Steve Morris was present, we got a promise that a solution for the ongoing bevelbox problems was on his way. Beginning January I emailed Mark Evans for an update. NO REPLY Mid February I emailed Mark Evans again. NO REPLY End February I emailed Marc Cerrone at MMC. NO REPLY Ten days ago I emailed Steve Morris. NO REPLY Beginning March I emailed Terence Goad at Garage 56. NEXT DAY I got an answer. This are my experiences till now. What can I say more ? Just received an email from Mark Cerrone at MMC in which he let me know he didn't received my previous email (which happened by my mistake) Have resend him my mail, let's hope it will expedite a solution for the bevelbox problems which we almost all encounter.
