Seagulls are always an issue, living so close to the sea; however one of the little blighters managed something special yesterday.
It managed to land one on the spokes of the spare wheel of my 4/4. Not the tyre, not the bodywork, but straight through the spokes.
swear
So, spare wheel out, wheel and backing plate thoroughly cleaned.

One of them hit my bonnet a fee years ago.
When cleaning it I discovered that the evil animal had armed its poo with
small rocks. I still have a scratch on my bonnet.

When working in Cardiff our factory had a large area of grey low roof. A mecca for the shitehawks. Measures were in place to deter them but not easy. We rofl one day on leaving. In the carpark was one car almost completely splattered yet those next to it untouched as if precision s******g had taken place!
On a cruise a few yars back we were calling in to a place on Spitzbergen, landing at a research base for Arctic areas. There were a huge number of terns nesting on the ground. They defended their territory with a vengeance. The strong fishy smell of their "bombs" was not pleasant. One chap was even pecked on the head. scared

An excellent argument in favour of the 4/4 Sport....
