The bolt for the crank pulley changed spec to a hex headed bolt and Loctite rather than the original Torx Plus bolt.

Yeah i thought there was a pulley or timing sprocket issue as well. I asked the factory to send me a list of upgrades recommended to be done for my 2013 September build m3w

There has been a few changes under that cover besides the bolt. There is an official S&S repair kit PN: 370-0015. (June 2016) I don't know the cost as it was done under warranty.

Indeed it is more than just the bolt...I should have remembered having fitted it a few months ago. Kit includes a new crank sprocket, and nuts for the cam sprockets, the bolt and a couple of retaining washers. I got mine from Matt's Machine Shop. Do a search on the part number and you'll find it.

£5343.19 Ouch.

Labour on the clutch should be zero as it will be out anyway.

£450 labour on a service is excessive, I can do my own car in 2 hours easily and that includes changing the brake fluid.

£300 all in is more like it.

Last May I had the urban cooling fan fitted and the cam chest upgrade kit inc. timing belt total cost inc labour and vat £692.32

I had most of those upgrades done last spring - minus urban cooling kit, fly screen and clutch. Plus a couple other small repairs and my total was slightly under $10,000 USD.
