Talk Morgan Forums Community For Sale & Wanted Wanted: Morgan Aero 8 / Supersport

Good Morning Everyone,

It's been a while since I posted on here last but I frequently log on for a read of the forums and peep at the classifieds.

I really have wanted a Morgan Aero from when it was first released, yet as they are so rare each time I've sold my car I've ended up buying something else before the right car has become available.

Then when the timing was right I sat in a Supersport a few years ago and unfortunately it was too snug for me due to my weight - however the great news is that I'm trimmer these days and think I could enjoy driving one now. The fact I could not fit in my dream car gave me great motivation to do something about it.

I have just sold my main car yesterday and am in the market for either a Series 4 Aero or a SuperSport. However it does appear that both the Aero Max and the SuperSport cars have appreciated rapidly since I last looked at buying and may now be out of my price range to be honest.

I have no favourite colour, so am open to most colour schemes, however I am not so keen on the white,cream or green. I do not mind an Auto or Manual gearbox. I think the S4 only came in an Auto if I am right. Side exit exhausts would be a plus point but not a deal breaker as these could be retrofitted.

I am happy to wait now until the right car comes along so no rush. Nothing gives me the feeling I get when I look at a Morgan. My family were from Worcester and the Malvern area and the idea of owning a Morgan would be wonderful. My son and I visited the factory for a tour a number of years ago and are just smitten by the whole ownership prospect. It appears that the Morgan owners are just as lovely as the cars and we feel Morgan ownership is the way for us.

All Aero's available with a manual gearbox. S4 and on have the Auto option.

After a couple of weeks of ownership, I now realise I've done exactly what you have previously done and bought "something else" (The Aero Supersports) rather than waiting for what I actually wanted (Either a well spec'd Aston V12 Vantage or Noble M600).
