According to service schedule, air filter only need to be replace as required, so I believed replace the air filter at 10-15000 miles interval seem more than fair, unless of course the car is being used in a really dusty conditions...

Engine oil and water can be refill without taking the wings off..

Yes Kin.
What I said was wrong, the reason of this is I had a pipe(in stainless stell) attached to the chassi who go's from the radiator to the (I dont know in English) small container to check the coolant water level with a piece of ruber missing and this pipe was banging on the chassis. But yes no need to take off the left wing for oil service. blush

After ringing up a few of the dealers up in the north, trying to book my car in sooner, and also trying to explain the part I needed(coolant leak), none of them seem to know what I was talking about confused2. Two dealers even wanted the car for 2 days shocked2
It has never occur to me to ring the factory up for the first service, and they bound to have the part as well, the best thing is they only needed the car for no more than 4-5 hrs thumbs

Car is now booked in on the 24th May,anyone here going to the factory on the day?

Hi Kin

I live only 5 miles from the factory so if you are kicking your heals and I am around that day I can meet you up at the factory and we could do another factory tour to kill some time talking nonsense about anything with wheels. cheers

You may see my car which is having it's first service there, and is being sent back to RTCC on the 25th May. I will be back in the UK and pick it up from there on the 26th May 2007, so will miss you. Can't wait to put some more miles on her...
woohoo

When you chaps are there, why not enquire whether they would be willing to do a special Tour for TM members - a more in depth one - and we could arrange to have a meet/lunch after!

cheers
