We need to go over the the Isle of Wight in a few weeks. Any issues taking a Morgan on the ferry (e.g limited clearance). Any preferred route (Southampton, Lymington etc).

Thanks, J.Neil

What's brown and comes steaming out of Cowes? The Isle of Wight ferry.

I am sure a more useful response will follow.

We go over every year for a long weekend in the +4. We always take the Portsmouth/Fishbourne route and have never had an issue. However, worth noting is the condition of some of the roads on the Island, leaves a lot to be desired. They did undertake a major road re surfacing exercise in 2015 but they must have run out of cash as although some had been made very nice indeed, there were still some horrors when we were there last July.

The SportingBears charity take a number of exotics over on the Southampton/Cowes route - I imagine if Lamborghinis can make it on & off the ferry, a Morgan will be fine.

had no problems taking my aero 8 on the red funnel ferry. As tuftie66 the roads were more of an issue.
