I saw this on the box last night, it was a wonderful bit of new technology that saved an old car. What a car, in the TV piece it looked like it could still get a fair speed up.

I will admit that I don't understand 3D printing but what a brilliant use of the tech. to produce a new block. Well done humans.

Pattern making is pretty much a vanished craft, this way the casting can be reproduced. Integral heads and cylinders crop up all over the place in the vintage world (Bentley 3 and 4.5 are this way).
An interesting read.
