Hi everyone, just got around to fitting my badge bar. The problem is the clips that came with the bar don't want to tighten enough to stop the badge moving. Bar and clips bought from heart of england

Suggest you measure the OD of your badge bar, then ask HoE for the correct size. Or when you have measured the OD, Google "badge bar clips". There are lots about and sizes are stated.

I fund the same problem with clips - and I thought they would all work.
I bought some from MSCC, but they were no good.
However, I found a decent gauge and diameter from Melvyn Rutter that works for me.

At the risk of being utterly predictable........

A rubber wrap around the bar will do a visually satisfactory job. I'm saying hard rubber if there's enough space for one full wrap around.

If not, high density neoprene has the squash ability to do the job. It may need double sided tape to fix in position.

Thanks chaps, problem solved, t-rex tape from b&q, one small piece wrapped around badge bar. One layer thick gives enough grip between the bar and clip. Happy days, now to find a centenary badge. Cheers paul.

Dear All
Does anyone know where I can buy a non standard badge bar clip with the centre of the holes 1.125” ( 28.5 mm) apart.

I was lucky enough to take part in last years “Drive to Victory”, to commemorate the end of WW1. Unfortunately, I have been unable to fit the commemorative badge to my Badge Bar because the distance between hole centres is bigger that the normal elongated extreme of slotted badge clips. Opening out the slots would not be practicable as doing so would weaken the the edge of the clip.

Any info would be very gratefully received.

With very best wishes

The Impaler

P.S. Have just exchanged my 4/4 T 3 MOG for a 2009 Plus 4 JV 09 MOG. Still suffering from a mega dose of euphoria.
