I think the answer is yes! I'm still trying to apply for the French air quality certificate. My problem is attaching the Registration document. I use an Apple iMac computer and have scanned the document into the computer in both JPEG and PDF formats.

However when on the French site at the appropriate section there is a button to choose the attachment. This gives me a display of all my documents including the registration document. I choose it and it's icon appears in the French form but so also does a message in red saying that I must attach a document not larger than 400 mbs in jpeg pdf etc format. The form lets me go no further.

I readily accept I'm computer illiterate and must be doing something wrong probably in uploading the original document although I've noted with other matters tat the Apple doesn't always play nicely with non Apple applications. If anyone can offer some advice I will be very much obliged.

Probably not the end of the world as we don't intend visiting Paris, Grenoble or Lyon but no doubt the legislation will be extended and secondly I should sort my computer ignorance!

Not a mac person I am afraid but when saving as jpeg from a scanner there is usually an image quality option. You can reduce the size of the final image by reducing the quality.

I assume you run Mac software:
Go to the App-store and search for "AutoResize"
A free and simple application for reducing mbs of fotos. Install the free version and you can alter the pictures as requird. The app produces a reduced copy so the original does not get affected.
Does the job for me.

First , you should know that you don't need any CRIT'AIR certificate to enter Paris city limits at night (8pm / 8am) every day. Also no certificate is required on saturdays and sundays.

Then you should consider that showing a certificate is not compulsory : if you don't have one you may (insist "may") just be asked (in the unlikely situation of POLLUTION ALERT day) , to show your vehicle uk registration certificate which shows in V7 the CO2 consumption.

As most Morgan cars don't have a Diesel engine, you will most likely be allowed to enter Paris even on a polluted day.

Last but not least : Why the hell are you considering to go inside Paris ? its ugly, filled with chinese tourists spitting everywhere and dangerous drivers ???

Macs are so intuitive that they defeat me every time frown

My sister went an bought one and has made several attempts to send me a photo. All I get is a tiny thumbnail of the photo. In the end she gave up and is posting it to me.

Crikey, A resident of Paris with the same opinion I have of the place. I have always come away thanking goodness that we have London, a far superior city in all respects IMHO. hide

To reduce image size I send the image to myself. Apple then gives me a choice of quality / image size. Worth a try?

Hi
Just applied for a clean air certificate on a mac and got round the size limitations by emailing the attachment to myself using mail. When you add an attachment there is an option to reduce the size of the file. If I remember correctly I used the medium option to make the file small enough. When I got the email I had sent to myself I just saved the attachment to my desktop and then used that file for the French web site
