 Panes in Upton is pretty old school. Petrol's expensive mind. . Seem to remember they had a couple of Diamond T there or were they Jimmies. I can't remember

There was certainly one Diamond T Steve. Plus others of interest. Probably forced to move them... Always an interesting place to drive past, but a bit of a distraction to a petrolhead

And here it is...  Sadly, no more 4 Star.... the cost of a minimum delivery is over £10k and demand has faded away. Unleaded is only 1p/L more than at Tesco in Salisbury. Inside the workshop is, almost, a trip down memory lane...  Outside i found this...I passed my driving test in a Ford Zodiac, but not like this one...  How does it differ? Well the Rover 3.5L V8 under the bonnet and 5 speed floor mounted gearbox just as on a Plus 8, radius arms and modern shocks on the back to assist the leaf springs and heavily modified brakes. It is, I was told, very quick as it weighs less than 1 tonne.
