Whenever my M3W rests for some time in the garage it takes quite long to get the engine fiering. Last time even the battery run flat.

To avoid a similar problem today I sprayed a little bit of starter spray to the filter before pushing the ignition button. My 3Wheeler has never ever started so perfectly before.

Has anyone else got a similar experience?

Only with the petrol lawn mower.

- not used it myself but a neighbour had a can of start spray which is sold in Australia;it was called (I kid you not) -

"start yer bast*rd...."

Check with protune the voltage throttle valve in the rest position it should be about 0.225 volt and look if the connector is not oxidizing, otherwise loosened both of the sensor to adjust the voltage and check that there is no air leakage.

Would not use that on a regular basis!!! I'm sure it puts massive extra load on piston tops, when we use it at work its very sparingly and only once i.e: if car been in storage for several years and we tried all other possibility....

Have you tried cycling the fuel pump?
Ignition on till pump cuts out, ignition off, repeat twice then try starting the engine.
Works for me.

Great for comatosing huge spiders in the garage. Starts engines too!

That is exactly my standard starting procedure.

p.s.: I get a new starter battery tomorrow. Maybe that will support the starting procedure too.

Thought it might be but also thought I should ask.
I'll just echo GLLOQ's suggestions in that case and maybe suggest fresh spark plugs. Best of luck finding the cause.

I find unless I have it connected to a battery conditioner between runs I get a prolonged start , with the conditioner it starts on the button ( most times ).
