That really does look superb Peter , perfect infact ! Worth all the effort I think .
Have you considered a matching gear knob as a final finishing touch ?

Peter: congratulations!
Looks " grown up" and the setting makes sense.
So much better than the crude instrument placements of the original Morgan design.

I recall seeing an Aero +8 that had been finished by the some company - I'd love to have that done on mine.

Borghi will do a dash replacement in a pre-arranged time frame and usually even has a loan car for overseas visitors to use whilst the work is being done.

He has several examples on his web site for different models. Naturally if you require changed instruments, as I did, it is best to arrange that well in advance.

If you want a good example of the quality of the workmanship just look at the way the veneer is rolled around the edges of the switch panel opening. You would think the dash was carved out of solid timber.

The instruments I used can be ordered in black face (in that case the existing speedo and tacho could still be ok though fractionally different) or as I did in magnolia.

Magnolia part numbers are:
41-112-4116-00 DIGI PRINTED MORG (KM Speedo quadrant)
41-162-858-00 DIGI PRINTED TACH (Tacho quadrant)
EFC1-1B36-02C FUEL LEVEL MORGAN
ECT1-1B36-00C WATER TERMP MORGAN
EOP1-1B36-00C OIL PRESS MORGAN
EAC1-1052-94C ANALOGUE CLOCK 12

I have black slip rings (the inner bezel) but magnolia slip rings could be specified.

Note this is for a pre GDI Duratec Plus 4 but any model using the same dash and instruments could have this dash fitted. Borghi also has a dash for the GDI Plus 4.

Peter, a beautiful piece of work that exudes class and period.

Borghi has taken your design and brought it to life in a way that demonstrates classic craftsmanship. It is more Rolls Royce than Morgan...

The best part is that you will enjoy the workmanship every time you sit behind the wheel. What could possibly be better?

That looks exceptional Peter. If you ever decide to sell your car, someone is never going to understand the Morgan concept of " They all do that Sir"

This is the Borghi dash I saw a while back - looks superb.... I assume you could actually do away with the recessed part and have all dials mounted on the wood? I'd love to have this done, but there never seem to be enough hours in the day to get organised to do it.

Peter, your dash looks so right! Superb but not overdone, very classy and structured. Have a lot of fun with it.
