Having gone through delays last year for other reasons (build slot early July became October) it seems things haven't got any better. In fact quite the opposite!

Looks like the delay is getting longer. I had a build slot of wk17 and am now told wk34 (which is August) at the earliest, and even then dependent upon the upgrades needed to the engine passing official testing. Quote of the day....'We are in the hands of the government'........

So, it looks like October delivery.

I think you would probably find that MMC and/or the dealer would simply refuse to enter into a contract on that basis.

It's easy to say MMC must have known about this for a long time, but I bet resolving all the issues is not straightforward, especially not if one wants to retain the essential looks and character of the M3W.

With Euro4, you not only have to demonstrate compliance to a lot tighter set of criteria, but you also have to be able to prove that the vehicle will retain compliance for at least 20,000km

i guess they will refuse so it's why i won't buy one smile i know is not that simple, but again they don't let them know this yesterday, MMC is well know for always delay their delivery PROPOSED TIME, i am sure many people don't buy due to this we all love our Mog's but is not all owner witch have the same passion, when you search over the web you find easily many people complain about the way MMC consider their customer.

Quite some time ago it was easy, you just had to pay the church. But then some pple didn't like it so it changed a bit.

This post is intended as a joke I hope I'm not offending anyone.
