The Morgan driver is clearly at fault, however the Peugeot driver was sounding his/her horn for a fairly long period and if they were hard on the brakes they should have easily come to a near standstill from 50.

Conclusion is they were doing considerably more than 50, and/or not fully applying the brakes, or not able to react correctly because of lack of talent/distraction/whatever.

Its the Morgan driver's fault, but the Peugeot driver is displaying a typical lack of road craft also.

There is insifficient evidence to point the finger at the tintop driver. There is clearer evidence of the poor judgement of the Morgan driver.
The police would have to assess based on any video evidence, witness statements, ultimately a full crash investigation if serious injury/death.
The police would likely make sure both parties exchanged details for insurance and let them sort it. The Morgan driver is more at risk of further action if deemed necessary.
A basic police report would be logged . The police were not actual witnesses so it is victims/witnesses statements that count. Speed? How would you assess it? No speed cameras. Take it off the video? Not accurate enough.
We can speculate and comment as much as we like but it is just hot air.
We can guess at the Morgan driver's intentions. We can guess at the speed, ability of the tintop driver.
They are just opinions.
There is a bias towards criticism of the Morgan driver as the evidence appears stronger against him.
Me?
Morgan driver made an error in pulling out the way he did.
Why? No idea. Just guesswork for possible reasons.

They were there pretty quickly after the incident, or is that a splice in the recording? Maybe they were at the car show.

I love all the divided opinions about what essentially is just a few seconds of video clip..!

Just goes to show how biased opinions can get you hung..!!!

I blame the sports exhaust, myself. If the engine was quiet, it would have meant no-one would have been watching..

Interesting how the Morgan trad has a nice little ramp on the rear - almost as if this kind of incident was expected!

Absolutely.

These low-powered death traps should be taken off the road and anything under 300hp should pay additional road tax and be made to display a U plate. wink
