Lucky the Peugeot didn't run right up and over the rear end! It doesn't matter that the driver might have been speeding....although hard to tell what the limit might be there, but the Morgan driver was just plain stupid.

Sadly it does appear that the Morgan driver was being remarkably inattentive.

Was this leaving some sort of Pistonheads meeting? I wonder if there was some element of wanting to make a fast/impressive getaway? I've seen other videos of this kind of event in which drivers crash through trying to impress.

No idea who the Mog is but that is the White Lion Classic Car meet at Hartley Whitney, held on the last Sunday of every month.

I hope you aren't one of those annoying people who believe the speed limit on single carriageway roads is 50mph ..... hide

Watching even more carefully (and zooming in) you can see the Morgan driver slowed to a stop - and then cluttered off again nono

Looks a bit like the car Williams sold recently.
is/ was it a 4/4 sport as the spare is on top of the luggage rack?

50mph limit according to the road sign.

No evidence on camera of Morgan paying any attention to the nearside.

Peugeot driver had time to sound the horn but failed to take evasive action other than brake.

Wooden body frames are tougher than you think.

Morgan did stop, and had crowd around behind the road narrows sign at end of clip.

Motorcyclist following had best independent view of Peugeot prior to collision and yet didn't stop to assist.

Hard to argue the Morgan drivers case, isn't it..?

I used to live nearby so know the road well. Despite the speed limit its a fast bit of road but straight with good visibility.
Where the dual comes down to single it's still quite wide so strange the driver didn't seem to do anything but brake in a straight line where there is room for some avoiding action.
Even though the Mog driver pulled out its quite likely the Peugeot was tanking it.
