Thanks Tom. I'll touch base when its sitting in my garage. Which way did you drive yours home from MM? The Taconic Pkwy, Route 22 or another route?

John, It's a bit of a long story, but since I had to register my M3W in CT, I didn't drive it home from MM up in Copake. Read my post in the link below.... http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/418375/Christmas_Came_Early....My_M3W#Post418375I have made the drive up to Copake a few times, and I think for this first drive home to Pound Ridge, Rt 22 is a better drive. Your avg speed will be a bit less, and will be less fatigue on your body. Driving through the small towns, you will also get lots of stares and thumbs ups from onlookers! Looking forward to meeting you. I just clocked 500 miles on mine over this past weekend. I'm still in the break-in period though, and my rev limits are still less than 5,000rpm. Can't wait for that to go away! Good luck with the delivery! -Tom

I was leaning toward RT 22 since it's the most direct route home, speeds would be slower and a bit more varied. Have fun with your break-in and I hope to meet up with you soon.

My "bugeye" has been built and invoiced, but apparently Morgan is keeping it a state secret from me and the dealer on it's shipment status. Can't believe it - 2 weeks after it's "done" and nobody will fess-up to where it is... Ah well, the wait continues as I busy myself with the purge-a-thon needed to make some reasonable space for it when it does eventually get here, have it's headlights put back to the proper place, and find it's way to it's new home. Update as of this morning - apparently my M3W has been sitting for the last 4 weeks or so waiting for stage one exhausts to arrive (must have been a run on them...). They showed up yesterday, have been fitted, and the car is scheduled to be finalized today, and if all is well, ready to ship by the end of the week or so. Perhaps I'll see it by the end of May!

Update as of this morning - apparently my M3W has been sitting for the last 4 weeks or so waiting for stage one exhausts to arrive (must have been a run on them...). They showed up yesterday, have been fitted, and the car is scheduled to be finalized today, and if all is well, ready to ship by the end of the week or so. Perhaps I'll see it by the end of May! Sucks that it's been sitting for so many weeks without you knowing. But great news that it's finally going to be shipped. They supposedly started building mine on March 11 and I was told it would take 2 weeks to build. But I haven't heard anything from my dealer. Crickets!

Something that I've wondered, especially if that's the case. Does it ship with the stock exhaust then or is it just sans exhaust entirely. If it ships with stock, then who keeps that I mean, it's not like you're getting a discount for the return of the stock exhaust, and you paid for it with the three wheeler itself. So do you get to take that as well?

So do you get to take that as well? It ships with the stage 1 exhaust. As with most of the options we're getting ripped off. There's almost no trade-in value on the stock item.

Hmm, just seems like he said it was at the dealer waiting for the Stage 1 to arrive though. Which would to me indicate either it had the stock exhaust on it still, or shipped without any, which would be a bit odd.
When I order mine I'll ask the dealer what's up, as I wouldn't mind having the stock exhaust for getting jigging alignments set up while having a functioning exhaust still on there.

Yep, lots of profit in the options! The definition of an option seems to include paying more for something that replaces something else that almost always costs the same. When I ordered my 2014 'vette, Chevy wanted $500 to build it with a different interior/exterior color combination than what they deemed as "approved" - as if the computer cared what color bits to select to install. And they charge a bunch more to paint the wheels black rather than silver also if I recall... Ah well, choice is good!
I'm sure the Stage 1 pipes cost about the same to make as the standard pipes, unless they are using the very expensive stainless unobtainium alloy (stronger than steel, lighter than air).

The dealer took a photo of mine as it was being unloaded from the shipping container and it had the stage 1 exhaust installed.
