I have just heard from Stuart at Krazyhorse, that my 3wheeler is due to go into production very soon.
This must mean that EU compliance has been sorted.
Re, above, my car is at the front of the queue.

Just a recap on build options:
Main body coiour Jag squadron blue (1976-1978).
Cowl and Thunderbolt Ford moondust silver matt.
Heritage wind screen and catches.

Custom exhaust and steps for the wife.

Mudguards body coloured.

Leather Ivory white.

Swap out rectifier for Harley unit.
Swap out rear fog lamp for reversing lamp.

Custom Moon discs in blue.

Stage 3 upgrade.

If all goes well I might have it by the end of May.

Great news.

Assuming the existing reversing light wiring will be employed, any thoughts on what you might use the redundant fog light switch for?

Very cool! Just curious, how much of the work is being done by Morgan, vs. Krazyhorse? Did you get Morgan to paint the mudguards?

Krazyhorse are making the exhausts, electrical upgrades and changes. They arranged for the Moon discs and stage upgrade.

Not sure who is painting the mudguards.

Just had a call from my dealer (RTCC). It would appear the factory are contacting the dealers with a way round the current Euro 4 emission test compliance delays in the production of Euro spec M3Ws. Morgan have said that they are planning on putting Euro 3 compliant cars through the SVA (single vehicle) licensing process. The good news part of this is that this would mean they can start building again cars for sale in the UK. The bad news part is that any such cars will not be able to be sold or registered in the rest of the EU (Brexit come early some will doubtless comment....). This latter detail doesn't bother me as I can't see it affecting the resale value of the car as, given it's RH drive, I wouldn't expect anyone in the EU to be wanting to buy a second hand RH drive car. My dealer said that, if I did want to wait for a Euro 4 compliant car, then the delivery time would not be until October or November (this is now pushed out even further than the September I had been qoted previously). My dealer is going to be sending me an email confirming all of this after he has spoken to the factory to check that they are aware of how time consuming and expensive the SVA process can be (RTCC are familiar with this as they used to sell Proteus C Type replicas, each of which had to get SVA approval). His view was that, if Morgan can get one M3W through the SVA process and then the licensing authority will approve all subsequent cars if Morgan confirm they are all mechanically the same, then this should be a goer but, if each M3W has to be separately tested and approved, that will involve a lot of cost and delay. He wants to be sure that any cost will not be passed on to the buyer. When I get his email, I will forward it on. I am hopeful this may mean I get my car sooner rather than later although, to be frank, I am not too hopeful. I do, however, now have to settle on my spec so I am looking forward to spending a few hours later today deciding on what I am going to go for! 😁

Thanks ShaunD.
This will not be a problem for me as the car is going to exported after 6 months.
