I will have a look at those gators as it sounds good. The kingpins going in are the Mulfab items

I thought of trying the corrugated pipes from heater outlets or demisters. I got them on the bottom springs. Fitted by the last owner, and work well. That is exactly what Mike Duncan fitted to our old car. The current car has DaveW special covers. Mrs Dave Ws at the bottom & ones supplied by Allon White at the top.

Any car dismantlers yard will have plenty of heater piping. Or the next time you take anything to the Council recycling centre, have a look in the skip for electrical items, there are always plenty of knackered vacuum cleaners you can nick the hose from.

Just an update on my kinpin replacement. Parts supplied by Cain at Wolf who was most helpful and made a superb job of reaming my new bushes in( comment made by engineer friend of mine ) as well as my view. I can concur with previous comments about 'top man'. The new hard chrome kingpins, bushes and steering bearings have transformed the cars handling. One small thing on my particular car, it was fitted with 3 bushes in the stub axle, the middle one is machined smaller to fit, carried out by Morgan on about 40 vehicles but abandoned as too expensive !! Glad the job is done and again thanks to Cain for advice and assistance

I fitted a pair of the famous DaveW gaiters to my 4/4 years ago and they are still going strong. Essential livery for the well maintained MOG.... Thank you MrsW The metal dust cover keeps most of the crap out Alan, which is why I never bothered making upper spring gaiters. But lower gaiters of some sort are essential.
At the moment I don't have any mohair so MrsW can't restart the sewing machine..............

Got my reamer from http://www.chadwickreamers.com/. The LP Reamer is a bit to short but using a suitable socket as a guide the first inch it worked well.
