Croatia we stuck to the coast road which was really scenic with smooth roads. I would try and make it to the Croatian islands in the Adriatic. We stayed at the Hotel Esplanade in Crikvenica and Hotel Life in Rogoznica. Montenegro is also worth visiting if time permits.

Thank you for the information, and sorry for my late reply. We are studying maps and planning our Morgan trip for the summer these days.
What a round trip you made back in 2015! In 1998 we drove from Norway to Provence in our trusty 1960 MGA 1600 Roadster. That was a 5800KM round trip, so we love loooong distance touring like this :0)

Here's a picture taken on the Croatian island of Cres in 2013, the second time we've driven the Morgan there. We were also pleasantly surprised by Ljubiana and aim to return, we stayed in the Hotel Cubo which is a really cool hotel with a small secure car park.

I've been to Slovenia and Croatia in the Morgan. The roads to the South-East of Lljubljana were spectacular as I recall. I'm flying to Bosnia on Tuesday and if I see anything decent there I'll post details.

I rode in a bus this morning on the road between Sarajevo and Mostar which is a belter: snow covered peaks, lakes and rivers; wide sweeping bends with the odd frightener chucked in; good surfaces too.

Today we had lunch in Slovenia and we found a remarkable restaurant in Osp not far from the coast. It´s called Gostilna Majda and the address is:
Gostilna Majda
Osp 88, 6275 Črni Kal
phone: +386 5 659 01 10
website Gostilna Majda

We started with an incredible fish soup and scallops, had handmade pasta with fruits of the sea, grilled calamari and ended with mousse au chocolade with truffels. The white wine fit perfect to the dishes and my wife and I were surprised about the quality of the meal and we can highly recommend this restaurant.

Best regards from Austria

We will stay in Lovran, Croatia for a few days- and Osp, Slovenia is just 67km away according to a route planner so having lunch in this restaurant is within reach for a nice daytrip in our Morgans
