James B - I have heard that too - seems the new brooms are intent on restricting dealerships to those who sell above a certain number of cars each year. I think it means that only a very few can meet the targets so a lot of the current dealers just will not be able to comply.
Seems to me that the finance people are now in charge - I wonder if this is a fall-out from the sale and leaseback done on the factory premises some years ago. Are they putting the squeeze on the company to become "modern"??? I think they are in grave danger of killing the goose if they force dealers to buy in stock which they will then discount if they need to sell - just look at the number of 2017 cars for sale on the locator. This will then reduce secondhand prices and really annoy owners -- spiral begins --- sad!!!
