ps, hand break is good.

I find it very comfortable but Alis now puts a small cushion behind her back. It would not be difficult to modify the seat back to give some lumbar support.

Whereas my Mrs declares that the passenger seat in my Morgan is the most comfortable seat she's ever sat in and had forbidden me from making any changes whatsoever to them.

Her indoors always wanted a Morgan. Having got one she hates it. Mainly due fiascos of its delivery & the mods required. ( to make it drivable). I love it. Just like marmite I guess. Love it or hate it. Yep I like marmite she doesn't.

I know sagging springs and asymmetric Morgan cars may be the norm but it still "irritates the hell out of me" when I view my 2006 Plus 4 from the rear. Engineers hate anything that is not vertical and horizontal when it should be. It had a drivers side tilt when I acquired with 26k miles on the clock and all the statements about drivers side and wear etc make sense but it still aesthetically irritates! Its like a door dent. Once I know its there I cannot stop looking at it!

Questions:
Are leaf springs interchangeable so the stronger spring is on drivers side?
If yes is it a big job?

No engineer in his right mind would ever buy a Morgan smile

My 2006 springs were shot too so I changed them. Not that difficult but quite physical for an old codger like me. They can be swapped over but not worth all the effort required. Buy some good ones.
