I had a Lirands on my Rover T16 engine +4. It added noise and a little umph.
The real game changer was the Librands manifold. The Rover lump had a cast iron manifold. The Ford has steel pipes so I suspect there is no point in changing the manifold.

I had the Librands sports silencer on my 2015 GDI & must say it added a vereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee deep note to the exhaust sound (almost too loud - imho) . So IF you opt for the Librands specify the "calmer" of the two versions offered... The "oumph" was increased - well: at least the feeling of... + it seemed to rev freer all over. The best solution is to fit a full system, only then you might get significant imporvement on performance ( AND noise... )
It doesn´t matter how fast it becomes, but how it becomes fast. 2015 Roadster 3.7

I have the Librands replacement manifold and cat and it makes a noticeable, positive, difference. I have retained the standard silencer as Rob, Librands, said that the only difference fitting the Librands 'silencer' would make would be to increase the noise but not power. Don't know what effect a replacement silencer would have on a car with the standard manifold and cat but other than more noise I suspect not a lot.

I quite like the sound of my standard system, and I wouldn't say it's particularly quite, but like the idea of a bit more go. It's just a shame the Librand's manifold and cat are so expensive

Thanks Andrew. sounds like a worthwhile improvement, i will probably do the same as you with a better manifold and cat but leave the silencer as is,

I have the factory-fitted Aero Racing Sports Exhaust on my 2018 Plus 4. I cannot say whether it has more power now (probably), but it definitely has changed the sound a lot, with many bangs during overrun; sometimes it sounds like someone behind me set of fireworks...
