1) On the other anniversary for sale at the showroom there was behind the seats a largish cubby hole that went in to the boot space, it was carpeted. They had the side screens placed there. When I got mine I found that behind the seats there was no such aperture, just a carpeted rear bulkhead. I asked the question and was told "That's Morgan for you". Is that the case or is the extra space indeed an option in the spec. list? I can't find the answer. 2) Steering wheels. Which model is this please if anyone knows, again I can't seem to find it on the list with the brass rivets and outer ring. Also are these wheels made specially for Morgan or are they generic? For example the Brooklands seems to be 600 quid at Morgan yet at other outlets I see it or similar for sub 200 quid, I'm told the one I have is £600 but again can see similar at £175. Thanks guys.

The sidescreen slot was not available if a spare wheel was fitted because the opening for the spare, above the fuel tank, takes up that space. I do seem to recall that someone mentioned that it had been discontinued on all models so perhaps it became an option.
Morgan, like all car companies, charges a premium for everything that passes through their hands, genuine spare parts and all that rubbish. In many cases the item is identical to the same thing purchased for half the price on the open market. In the case of the Anniversary steering wheel the brass makes it a special order on Moto-Lita and it is probably exclusive to Morgan.

Many thanks for the super quick answer Peter, a great help. The extra space was great I thought but I'm not too upset mine doesn't have it, just a bit . Just seems weird how 2 anniversary cars are different in that respect. Funnily enough I would have maybe had the 2 tone green car had it had colour matched wheels.......or at least flicked a coin on them. A for the steering wheels again thanks. The dealer had a generic pic on the website of the blue car which I thought was mine fitted with the Brooklands wheel which I knew retailed at 600 quid. That car was in fact their demo/hire car and not mine. Mine had the brass wheel. I thought "bloody 'ell" that's a 600 quid wheel I've lost there, even though I like the Moto lita more. Softened the blow a bit when they said they were similar prices from Morgan. Problem was mine wasn't listed to confirm that. I think you've just maybe explained why. Thank you once more.

Bit of a liberty to discontinue a standard 4/4/ sport feature on a special edition without making it very clear. I wonder what else is missing?

I also noted the green car never had the "flat back" big wing sports seats mine had, they were more pudding like. Another reason I went for the blue one. I thought they all had the horizontal stitched seats. Maybe a bit of Mix'n' match going on

If you have a spare wheel there is no 'hole' for storing sidescreens, you would need to purchase a two tier luggage rack to facilitate the storage. The wheel you have looks like a 14" Mark 4 moto lita.... Walnut with holes and rivets... Would retail from us around £150 plus VAT (excluding boss and horn push) The Brooklands wheel is a more expensive option. If you want to chat about the car or its spec or have any Qs then give me a call 01392833301

I take it you also must have sold some of these, did they all have the side screen storage? This is car number 2 by the way. It sat in the showroom for 6 months whilst the all the later cars were sold. As for the wheel. Is that the brass one you are talking about at 150 quid? Many thanks for your kind input, Appreciated.

Car number one is a blue one. It was originally a 'Speedster' model, until legislation caught up and as it was still unsold, the factory converted it to Anniversary spec. This car was featured extensively as a press launch car and covered in detail by the much missed MOG Magazine.
The car is currently owned by MMC's archivist Martyn Webb.
For a fuller picture you'd be well advised to speak with Henry as offered. He's a really nice guy & won't bite..

I will call Henry as it would be great to speak to somebody with that level of knowledge on the Marque.
I honestly thought car Number one was owned by Perry on here.
Thanks again for your help.

There were some differences in production with regard to seats and sidescreen storage. Perry was on it at the time.
