Still discovering things about my car after almost three years of ownership and this is slightly embarrassing to admit but the other evening in the garage whilst trying to get a USB Bluetooth adaptor (thanks for the link Neilda) to work on the stereo which was all to no avail as it seems the connection on the head unit is actually broken. Well the heater has always been ok but the aircon really rubbish..hey its a Morgan. So I have discovered something new about why mine was really rubbish because in stead of actually looking, I presumed the two vents that I thought my car had where just open slots.... Oh no, not only are the vents proper vents that open, close and even twist but I have THREE and yes the two outside ones where facing to the knees and the centre was closed.

Aircon is still crap but not utterly useless.

Took me a while to find the outer vents.

Have you found the 4th and 5th vents?

One each, down in the footwell.
Make sure the are open and pointing towards the feet, close the vents above the radio box and you should, with the A/C on, get nice cold feet.
Open the side vent above the radio and point at your lap and the coolness spreads.
It is important to keep the passenger vents shut unless you have a passenger.

The A/C isn't stunning, but it is reasonably effective.

Same rules apply to the heater!

Peter, are you talking Aero or Trad? I've never found anything other than the "knee burners" in my Trad - do I need to have a proper delve in the footwells? S

I must agree with Stuart, the heater in my +4 could make toast for me, it is really brilliant for winter driving.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

My trad often gives me roasted legs. 2 vents(adjustable) either side.
The temperature adjustment is crude, basically on or off. Never a big issue though. In winter I wear thermal trousers or thermal underwear if needed.
The built in insulation over the tran tunnel works well too. My feet don't cook in summer.

The S2 has the two round vents buried near your knees. The Coupe has them extended up to the facia line.

When we bought the Coupe I thought this was a great benefit. Actually I find the S2's ability to heat my feet and legs better as I can wear thicker top clothing. I have not found any additional vents should I be looking ?

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Oh how irritating... how is it (the socket) broken? Have you tried any other devices in it - like charging your phone - just to double check?
