The people who it is with, rebuild valuable historic race cars, many of which are British origin, so I am guessing they will have all the imperial measurement tools plus pullers and the like. A very knowledgeable M3W owner, Raphael, who does not live far away from the garage in Toulon, is going to keep an eye on what they are doing. I have spoken to Matts Machine shop and they are going to email me tomorrow with the arrangements to send the mod kit to RD Racing direct, instead of via myself. They say they include full instructions with the mod kit. Nevertheless I have downloaded the instructions above (very much appreciated) and will send this to Raphael, which he can then explain in French to Daniel and Jaques at RD Racing, in a suitably subtle manner.

Thanks again

Dooh actually unpacked the new kit at last. The old screw fitted does require the correct torx plus socket but the replacement bolt is a standard imperial 12 point socket so ready to fit now
