went for a litle ride: winterthur(ch)-appenzell(ch)-oberriet(ch)-feldkirch(a)-st.gerold(a)-damüls(a)-au(a)-warth(a)-lech(a)-zürs(a)-bludenz(a)-oberriet(ch)-appenzell(ch)-hulftegg(ch)-winterthur(ch) so it was switzerland, then vorarlberg region in austria and then back to switzerland. up to 2000m beautiful and sunny weather!!! 461km and one failed relay fuse (big one fuel pump, but i had a spare one with me :-) 11h trip time had a friend with me. hes got a "austin healey bn1 sport" http://s725.photobucket.com/user/swissboston/library/Andypassword: talkmorgan17

hey folks!
i need infos:
does anybody know, what type or brand the connector/plug(electric) is which goes onto the fuel pump? its a black one with a push-in relase funktion.
i need one!!!
anybody can help?

important: take out the connecting fuel hose, between the 2 injection horns, replace it with a new one (high quality!!!). this small piece of hose gets brutally hot while the engine is running and therefore the small cracks and holes in it. also replace the 2 hose clamps with professional ones (stock ones are one-timers and dermot!!!) i got sprayed with fuel  . i am ok, but my front screens are a total loss now. hundreds of small cracks.

I've just had exactly the same thing happen - grrrrr! The love hate relationship continues - how much is a screen I'm now thinking - maybe it's time for a pair of Brooklands aero screens. New pipe and connectors reqd too.

If you have one of the screens near enough complete, then any plastics firm can cut to that pattern
I got mine done when had one screen shatter due to petrol spray.
Cost NZD 25. GBP 12
I found replacement hard on the knuckles as accessability is limited! Patience works well, but Im more grumpy in disposition!

This must be an S&S -supplied part of the engine. Am surprised its not fit for purpose.
