There is what I think is an immobiliser warning light in the middle of my dashboard. It doesn't blink - so, please, what does it do?

It is where an immobiliser light should reside, however the emob. On the Ford cluster used on your model does not reach the dashboard position on model. If you look under your dash when dark you should see the light flashing.
Unfortunately it's a Morgan and that's how they are built.

I love that. I think I'll wire an LED into it from the clutch pedal - that should interest passengers. Maybe call it a crumpet detector

Yes there is one if your ignition key has the giveaway sign. It's just that the factory gave up trying to connect the led to the light socket when the dash changed.
Attention to detail, built by craftsmen, as always.

Hi Stuart
I've got one of those in my 4/4 as well and was told by the dealer that it is the immobiliser. It just shines continuously once you have parked up. I have found though that you can turn the light off by connecting the driver's seat belt.

Well tonight I have looked under the dash, in the dark, and.....there was the immobiliser light blinking away! Thanks for the info everybody. Now I'm hoping to find a thread on here telling how to run a fibre optic cable between the LED and the dashboard lens..............anyone?
I want to get it working as it's supposed to be a deterrent.

Does anyone know what the dashboard lens itself looks like (I.e. What the rear connection looks like

Roadster has an immobilizer light & it flashes but I know a 4/4 owner with a 2015 Sport who was told it didn't flash by the dealer.
