Bought one of these for Christmas. No fixings supplied but not too much of a problem securing to floor with M8 dome head setscrews and nylock nuts. A bit difficult to access sitting at the end of deep passenger footwell, but maybe this adds to security ??
Very dissapointed the first time I used it though to find the hinged locking lid fell off! Although there are blind studs inside allowing the hinge to be bolted to main casing, flabbergasted to find the aluminium lid is just glued on to hinge
and not even well with thinnest strip of glue bridging surfaces not even in contact. Even the badge is better fixed! Apparently this is a known issue and Leacy's response as distributors, was that a stronger glue would be used in future
Spent some time removing and fixing lid properly with three pop rivets which as a security device should have been done in the first place. Anyone unlucky enough to have one please note.
