Get the stainless. The powder coated one is just the stainless version with paint added which you pay for...
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

Get the stainless. The powder coated one is just the stainless version with paint added which you pay for... The dealer fitted stainless one to my new car last year. The factory had already discontinued black ones which I believe were only made in a small batch to match limited edition Gulf models. Had mine black powder coated later for less than £20, including fittings.
