Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your message. When you refer to 'body number' do you mean the full 17 digit VIN or is there another number on various places you mention (bonnet etc.)? If its not the VIN, how many digits/characters in this number so I can be sure I get the correct one. I'll collect my ARP4 next week and will check then.

Hi Ian, the Body Number is engraved on all parts to make the car (6 digits.) You can find for example the Number inside the bonnet right, left on the hinge. Daniel

My Plus 4 build number - 100790 - was stamped inside the wings. On the front wings the mark is on the vertical panel adjacent to the rear wings, and on the rear wing in almost the same position. Rear wing Front wing Body number is here:

Hi All,
I picked up the ARP4 just before the Easter break and already its been named 'Growler' by the family. Those of you who have driven them will know why!!
Feedback for Daniel on the body number - 100382 is stamped on wings etc. I am told by Morgan it was the last one made - from the VIN that could be the case.
A very different car to the SuperSport we drove down to the dealer in on collection day. Sorry to see that car go but the ARP4 is a tremendous improvement in many ways - particularly chassis rigidity and handling accuracy. Engine is a peach and just gives and gives, but might have to use my motorcycling earplugs on long runs. Its surprisingly noisy and sometimes boomy inside with the hood down (not used with the hood up yet). I'll try and post some pictures and more considered thoughts when time (thoughts) and competencies (picture posting) permit. Ian

Great news Ian, it sounds as if you are really enjoying your new car. They are a bit noisy, and it doesn't get better with the double lined, and extra quiet hood up, however, it is quite a nice noise and can be played like an insturment with the right foot, especially the pops and bangs on the overrun.
Please keep those thoughts coming.

Remember that 100382 is the build number, and build numbers don't necessarily run consecutively through the factory. So if this is the last one made, later build numbers may have gone through before it.

If you have in your ARP4 the ECU (it is not the European monetary unit, which was the precursor to the euro) but (the electronic control unit (ECU) which means an on-board computer or system... Most often used the acronym ECU...) which have the number E340219 you are a happy man, you actually have the last update. If power appears be identical (230 HP) however the torque at low revs is very correct, enough for cruiser at 2000 rpm on the 3. The previous ECU had the number E340210. Of course no communication was made by our friends at Morgan.

My name is Ian rather than Jan which is shown on the list
Out of interest my ECU is E340230
