Was out riding today. Stopped at a gas station and a few people walked over. Asked, " What is it ?".
"It's a Morgan Three Wheeler. Hand made at the Morgan factory in Malvern, England. They've been making vehicles since 1909. No, this is new not old. Engine is built here in Viola, WI by S&S and transmission is a Mazda Miata 5 speed. The rest is by Morgan. Lots of fun to drive." That's my speech.

This is an original Mogan, handbuilt at the oldest family owned car factory of the UK in Malvern. It is a completely unreliable beast but the greatest fun I ever had in a car.
Top speed? I dont know! I am not brave enough to drive top speed.

No, it doesn't have a wooden chassis, yes they do still make them like they used to, no I haven't rebuilt it, it comes out of the factory like this, no there isn't an 8 year waiting list and yes, it is the best fun you can have with your clothes on !!

Yes it's a three wheeler - I'm saving up for the fourth... [I did see in the last MOG Mag a conversion /rebuild of a 3 to a 4 wheeler for racing. Wonder if that will ever be a factory option?  ]

It's a Morgan 3 Wheeler. You can buy one from a dealer just like I did. It costs about the same as a full year's tuition at an Ivy League University. If you find the fourth wheel, I'd really like to have it back! What? No, junior can't sit in it for a photo.
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

Well I now know better.
A chap who obviously knew more about my car that I did explained that it was a kit car from Morgan that was put together by Caterham.
After 10 mins of trying to explain otherwise I just walked away........
