No worries Sportster. I defend your right to free speech. I just am opposed to such thread drift. If the political opinions are kept to their own threads then those of us just here to enjoy the pure fellowship of cars can ignore them. Now I'm off to a political forum to talk about Zinc additives in Motor Oil.

Understood Draggin. The rules of the forum do warn of such things.

Kool Aid Ken and Sportster,

Maybe you both need to read my thread yesterday on "Memorial Day" and see who started the politics? Inexcusable and sad to say the least!

This thread is shifting torwards the Soap Box.

Or is it just a troll playing his games?

At last the discussion is not a technical M3W subject.

Back on theme.

Question. ' Did you build it yourself'

My normal response. ' No I didnt if I had I would have made sure both the rear wheels stayed on it'

Normally a bemused look as I walk away

Back to the original thread... My friends, who have a Triking, and I went cruising this past Sunday all over Vermont, enjoying the impeccable weather and crowds. Going through the town of Woodstock we were almost assaulted with too many questions. I had my 2012 M3W with the picnic basket and they had their Triking, a kit car modeled after the Morgan but with a Moto Guzzi front end. People were confused. Many cameras and finger pointing. At one point, I piped up with "I think we've confused them enough, it's time to go!" so we left!

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

On the return leg of my recent 3000 mile trip down south, when I pulled in for gas, I would just keep my head down and make no eye contact, just wanted to keep moving.
The oddest comment - What car dat?
My response - Huh?
