Obviously it all held together yesterday Austin. Watched you drive up the track past the back of my 90 which was in the Start/Officials parking area...
Good to catch up and with Tony Quinn on Start line while waiting for the gravel scattered by John Scruton to be swept up. As John did it more than once I will put him forward for a "broom" award on his next visit laugh2

We had a wonderful weekend Graham...and even won a trophy for 3rd fastest Morgan, which is something I never expected at Prescott!!

The car ran great with no signs of impending failure, however the task of removing the engine and compensator has now begun.....

John has my sympathy for his brush with the gravel. Ettore's is very tight for the M3W's limited turning circle. My grippier front tyres helped get me round tighter I think....and saved me from the armco at the Esses on my first practice....

It was great to see you...and a big Thank you to all the marshals

BTW, did you see the star act of the Morgans....he improved by around 17 seconds from 1st to last run...and was the most entertaining by far...

Great photo.
I meant to get my camera ready for that lovely Family 3W, but forgot until they appeared on the line for both competion runs. Will be keeping an eye (and camera ) out for them in the future smile

The line around Ettores is not easy, most cut in too early and with the adverse camber on exit tends to push a car out towards the gravel. Ian Patten (former BOC General Manager and I guess responsible for the photo on the back page of this month's Bulletin? ) has driven me up there in an M3W. Using the correct line he was well clear of the gravel on exit, though not quite on the apex which is right at the end of the corner smile

I learnt Ettores the hard way - in my Westfield.

It is just sooo tempting to turn in too early.

I was pushed over to the outside of the corner - touched the edge of the Gravel and executed a pirouette of a 180 about turn!!

No damage done and BIG lesson learned v early in my Prescott career!!!

My best time was 44 something - in my Jedi - 1992!

Happy days and great memories!

Would love to return to the Hills - but 25 years later think my mojo has faded!!

Beautiful sporting photo, it reminds me 35 years ago that I lost my brother in a very very close turn to the point that the car had stopped perpendicular to the road and it had me projecting on the passenger seat, a few Moment after closing the door the engine was running again I tried to remember where I had forgotten my brother because that night we were passing by different buddies giving the hello when suddenly I see a person in the darkness Who walks and limps arriving towards my car, it was my brother !, since it is reassured when I take it in the three wheels because a no door can open in march
