Dear all,
I'm offering a surprise roadtrip to my best friend for his birthday. The goal is to attend Impney Castle hillclimb on July 8 and Flying Legends in Duxford on July 9. Sadly, the original plan was to do it in a Morgan Three Wheeler, but I have not yet found one to buy that fits my criteria (Hopefully I'll have one for Goodwood revival).
I was wondering if you have any pubs and/or accomodation that you'd recommend between or around these two locations?
I've already checked the Melvyn Rutter's Pitstop but the twin bedroom is unfortunately booked already.
Many thanks in advance! Julien

If it was me going to Duxford I would look to stay in or around Cambridge and go in to Duxford on the Park and Ride.
Traffic queues to get in/ out of Duxford can be lengthy and the bus by-passes all these ( it was free when we went last year).
If you stop in Cambridge make sure you find accommodation with car parking as public car parking can be horrendously expensive.
Hope you have a good time

Julien, I can recommend this place you are within striking distance of Duxford. My eldest daughter and SIL got married here and they live in the village. https://www.qhotels.co.uk/our-locations/the-cambridge-belfry/bedrooms/

We have had a few weekends at Wallis farm house self catering chalets or b+b, in Hardwick village, Village pub 200 meters away, about 10 miles of back roads to Duxford. Great rural village to stay.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.
