New Guy ~ Starting to drive from the desert floor up into the mountains. I have noticed that I can't see the right wheel. ( LHD ) So it makes me take the line with the left tire right on the center line...... ( tight mountain road ) need to work on this. Anyone else have this problem ?

For the first six months l drove my M3W with a two inche foam pad under me. Now I no longer need it as I know where the front tire is. No worries!

One does get used to the lack of visibility. The tires are exactly 60" apart on center. Here in the Northeast, along with others who own 3 wheelers have become very used to keeping the left front on or close to the middle line as the shoulders of the road are pretty much crap.

The only times where it becomes absolutely critical is when you see an obstacle in front of you and you must make a very hasty decision on which wheel is going to hit it. One out of three...

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

I do not see the left front wheel on my Audi, nor do I see the right wheel.
I'm still able to keep the car on the road.
Based on my driving experience with bikes, cars, trucks, mototcycles and roller skates I was able to handle both the 4/4 and the M3W...
Don't get frightend, just drive them!

You would probably struggle with a 2015 Mustang. Cannot see the front or nearside edge. Multi storey car parks are to be avoided.

Which Mountain road are we talking about? I drive Angeles Crest quite a bit and I can see the top of the right fender while driving. A bigger issue are the numerous fist sized rocks. A three track vehicle can be pretty interesting to navigate thru debris fields.

Funny, I'm always looking at my roller skate wheels when i'm on skates. Might be why I keep crashing into things. Might try your approach of not looking at my roller skate wheels and start looking straight ahead. rofl

I've never seen my right front wheel when driving, never had an issue with that, and never even thought about it until it was brought up on the forum.

Hey guys thanks for chiming in. I've driven this road for 25 years + ( HWY 74 ) From mini vans / porsche / BMW 1200 lt bike. Have never had this problem. Sure it can be learned. Just not sure why...... The Morgan is a blast to drive !
