Been to garage to admire my series 5 to be deflated by an equally deflated rear tyre. I have heard that using the spraycan renders the tyre scrap. Also where are the lifting points on the rear if having to remove the wheel is necessary.
Just noticed that the spray can supplied by Morgan is only suitable for wheels 17" and smaller but the car is fitted with 19" wheels. Also, what about the 30mph recommended speed.
Advice welcomed.

Can you not just inflate it with a compressor or foot pump rather than goo and see how quickly it deflates ? If it's a slow puncture you may well be able to get down to a tyre place before it goes flat.

Thanks, have reflate the tyre and now waiting to see how long it takes to lose pressure. Do you agree with the goo limitations?

Giles's is a good idea - when/if you get to the tyre repair depot don't let them trolley jack it but lift it on a four post and lift the whole car. See your handbook first for best advice where to lift it.

Avoid using the goo it is a tyre wrecker.

Thanks Richard, I have an appointed at the dealer on Tuesday next and am hoping to get it there for them to fix but it's 80 miles.

Can you hear the air escaping ? If you fill a spritz spray with soapy water you can check that it's not escaping from the valve. You can also spray the tyre to see if you can identify where the puncture is.

If you have AA with home start you can often use this.

Phone and say you have a flat.
Say there is no spare on this car.
No foam.
They will sometimes send a local on-your-drive fitter service.
You pay for the tyre but they cover the fitting.

Worth a look.

Alternatively get the whole wheel off and take it to a local tyre place?

I asked the Williams mechanic who serviced my aero about jacking points.
He said anywhere on the chassis, with a wood block between the jack and the chassis.
And that you may have to drive the car onto a plank or three to lift it enough to get a jack under the car

I have found the culprit nail and plan to leave it there until the tyre is fixed either at Williams or a local tyre shop. I can recognise the chassis at the front but it seems to be hidden beneath panels at the rear. Good news is that the pressure is still at 25 psi after three hours. Thanks for all the advice
