 maybe! but I don't really know what part you're talking about?  It's the three sided panel under the cowl  There is one each side to access the footwells from above and held on with screws into captive nuts, so very easy to remove/replace.

That panel also helps when your parking brake handle unscrews itself,flies past your feet, and decides to hide as far forward as possible between the frame and body skin. Ask me how I know.

My emergency brake knob came off during a road trip. It flew up, hit me in the chest and then fell in my lap. Startled me to say the least!!! A drop of blue loctite has kept it in place fo the last year or so.

I had to put a small peice of tape inside my cap to stop the rattle, but next i will do the locktite.
