Well, we know how consistent MMC are with parts! smile
Only discovered the Start/Run/Die by pure accident the day it was delivered. Never used the immobiliser after that, until one day it would turn over (vigourously) but didn't start. Switched on immobiliser for a minute, then off, to be followed by instant start.

Three days on and the problem hasn't returned .In reply to Ken,yes I can here the fuel pump energise.So again thanks to all who took the time to reply,and I'm just hoping it was one of those Morganisms!
