The Morgan is new and coming up for its 1000/3 month service in July, done 400 miles so far in between the showers.

I've read all the threads on here and taken the advice of procuring a nice twin valve Wanner for the odd 1000 mile top up should I need to.

Suggestions for grease seem to be either the Lucas Red stuff or Comma Moly.

Just thinking though, is it probably best to find out what Oakmere will be using (as they will be servicing the car whilst under warranty) and fill the Wanner with that instead of possibly mixing and matching? The car will be very lightly used so I don't think it's a huge issue anyway but just curious what other guys do and reckon.

Cheers.

I'd either do what you suggest and find out what Oakmere will use or tell them not to touch the kingpins and you'll do it yourself.

After faffing about with various sorts & colours, this is about right now..

Life is too short to argue about oils & greases I think.

The bottom line is it won't matter. I've used all sorts and have come to the conclusion that grease is grease. Just do it little and often and you'll be fine.
