Does anyone know the size of the hex screws that fasten the plastic trunk liner to the frame? I stripped two of the screws a bit while re-installing the liner last weekend, and I would like to hit the hardware store to buy a few replacements.

Thanks guys!

Mine is strapped down very tightly with two ties holding it on two different planes.

It's hard to imagine that the rollover valve would rattle so loudly, but I will definitely give it a shot. Is it the valve itself or is it the hose connecting to the valve that needs to be secured? I can't remember what it looks like, and in the photo that Richard so kindly posted, it looks like the arrow is pointing towards the hose.

instead of the hex screws buy the set where you tighten it without tools..so much easier to remove anywhere you are, they are great. I can't recall them though

It's the body with the valve in it... not the hose. And yeah...get the thumb screws to replace the hex head bolts.

Brilliant idea to replace the hex screws with thumb screws! Those hex's get stripped so easily!

Does anyone know the size required?

Thanks again!

Or you can get plastic screws with knurled and slotted heads that don't gall up and sieze in the galvanised threaded inserts in the wooden frame. Cost pennies.

No matter how one secures the rollover valve, it will still rattle maddeningly. Has anyone just gone ahead and removed it? If so, are the tubes just blocked off, or connected?
Not that I am going to do this, of course, but just wondering.
