The 4/4 comes with 165/80 15" Continental CT22.
I heard that this ones are not the best choice...
what is about the Vredestein T-Trac 2?
Or is there another good solution?

Thanks in advance.

Tom, there are many, many opinions on tyres. My advice would be to use your car for a few thousand miles for your own opinions first.

I never had a moments doubt about the standard tyres on mine in 8000 miles..

Hello Steve, thank you for your opinion.
Maybe it will be the best to try them (Continental) first....

On my 4-4 I don't like the Conties on wet streets. I'll soon try other tires ...

At the 60.000 km service on my +4 I had to change tires (the factory mounted Yokohamas 195/60 HR 15 had finally become too hard after 8 years).
My dealer recommended a Continental Set which I found somewhat strange in the handling at first, the car seemed more nervous. They showed very good handling and grip on wet streets and very, very wet streets, and after 1000 km or so I got accustomed to the "new" handling, maybe they were finally run in. Yes, and in tunnels the Contis produce an intense high tone I did not hear on the Yokohamas.
Hope my experience helps you to get a feeling about the Contis.

Hi Tom.

I think this old thread may be of help to you.

I certainly was not impressed by the Contis which came fitted to my Mog and found Vrestein t-trac2s to be a huge improvement.

Hi I recently fitted Vrestein T Trac2 to my 4/4 sport and found that they had better grip, in the wet, then the contis. I change to T tracs2 following reviews on Talkmorgan. Plus they are a resonable price.

I can confirm the posts regarding the t-trac-2. Now after 12.000km with them in almost 1.5 years they perform as new and still have a nice grip, built up some warmth and give good control as well in the wet. I will buy them again when necessary.

I had a very scary situation with the oroginal Contis on wet conditions when they were 5 years old. Changed to Vredestein Classics afterwards and would do it again..

I can remember, was it at Stelvio? Yes the Classics are a good choice too.
