Went into High Wycombe shopping for clothes & swmbo 60th birthday present. Side screes off & a long glorious drive home.

Roasty toasty today in the Yorkshire Dales, but perfect Morganeering country.

Nice evening run out to Totnes and return as it's cooled down a bit now.

At long last they have relaid (not the standard tar and shrapnel) the road at Halwell, those that know it will know it has been suitable only for tractors for the last year due to pot holes of the major variety.

p.s. Spotted V30 MOG in Dartmouth at lunchtime whilst we were in the fully airconned tintop.

Dales and Lakes. From Bainbridge through Hawes and all along the wonderful A684 to Kendal, then to the Hawkshead Brewery at Stavely for lunch. Continued via Windemere and Ambleside to the Bluebird Cafe at Coniston. Back to our digs via Hawkshead and the ferry across Windermere with a stop for provisions at Hawes.

If you end up on the west coast anywhere near Arnside, give me a buzz....you are very welcome to pop in!

I needed to fill up with petrol, in readiness for our drive to the Hive Beach picnic on Sunday. It should have been just a mile each way, but turned out somewhat further.
innocent
As I planned only a short journey, I drove hood up, but no sidescreens. Very pleasant on such a hot day.

From our digs near Bainbridge to Richmond then a nice route along Swaledale and over to Hawes. Only realised when we got back that that was Buttertubs pass.

Cracking photo! We were over Buttertubs today too, but a bit earlier so it was much cloudier. It's got to be one the Great Morgan Roads, I reckon.
