The (ever so long running) saga continues. Good job I'm a (not very im)patient person! Latest from my dealer:
"After a long conversation with the factory this morning and I'm sorry to report a further 4 week delay in the production of your car. They are now saying build commencement in the 2nd or 3rd week of July.
The reason for the delay is the diverted man hours it is taking the assembly team to obtain the Euro-4 compliance which has impacted the production of all Three Wheelers.
Morgan apologise for the delay and have reminded me of three things that may sweeten the pill:-
1. The Euro-4 car would be unlikely to be built before November, so Euro 3 (SVA car) is still significantly earlier 2. The Euro-4 cars have had a £2,300 price rise to cover the new components 3. The look of the Euro-4 car has changed quite considerably in certain areas and isn't receiving good comment currently
I know these comments won't completely mask the disappointment of the delay but I do believe they endorse the decision to have the SVA car rather than wait - I hope you agree?"
Plus ca change.

Shaun your comments seem to support what my dealer told me about Euro4. So its seems likely there will be an increase in ride/overall height & a bit bigger.

Here's an interesting side bit... my dealer's personal car, used for demos, has been absent for six months ( was suppposed to be six weeks) because it's at S&S being used as a Euro4 upgrade test bed.

Wow well that is emerging news ok. Seems the rumours are correct after all.
It will be most interesting to see the " new" M3W to say the very least.
I do so hope that the overall look as it s now is nor over comromised.

From what I've heard, imagine a M3W with some of the most hideous modifications you've seen on non Euro 3 cars....and add a few more for good measure
Hold on to your current M3W's - their value might well shoot up - even the 2012 ones!!

My 2 bits, I was in a saloon finishing lunch (after fishing all morning) and had on my M3W T shirt. A guy recognized what it was, I said I own one, he says he is a Polaris engineer who was just at S&S to meet regarding emissions testing for a big bore kit for their Indian Motorcycle. He said S&S had a M3W there for the Euro 4 testing, which passed with no problems.

Visited the factory yesterday (along with another TM member whose car was also meant to be going into build) and we both met and had a good chat with Mark Cerrone, the head of the M3W build team. Keith/Paul, I did, as requested, pass on your regards to him. He is, as you said, a lovely guy and very helpful - and also an owner of an early M3W (although he mentioned that the chassis and bodywork had been replaced on it so only the engine was original). Any way, he said both our cars should be going into build in three weeks time so that is great. They will be two of the 20 odd old style cars that will be put through the SVA process. He mentioned that two cars have already got SVA approval so, hopefully, there won't be a problem with ours. 🤞 After that, it will be only the new style Euro 4 compliant cars that will be built. He said they will have double cats and the higher ride height. I suspect the look of the new cars may not be that popular and he said the cost of putting a car, after build, back to the old style could be as much as GBP2,000. The other TMer I was at the factory with was at Goodwood today and he sent me the following message: "For info I popped onto the Bell and Colvill stand at Goodwood today and he showed Me the pictures of the "new" 3 wheeler. Does not look great and the list price is up By £4K... ride height is up quite considerably. New side cats and a fairly hideous front end Exhaust configuration."
