2000 miles on from having the stage three kit fitted.

Well if you read my original post, the jury was out on this conversion. I had good service from Krazy Horse...and they'd travelled 100's of miles to rectify an early glitch. This was done by George, the Workshop manager.

Then I packed up and drove down through France in the incredibly hot weather last week.

So...she seems as zippy as before, the noise creating lots of positive attention from all sorts. I wear headphones as I really don't care if it looks daft, I just want to enjoy the trip.

No pistons are holed or anything scary like that and she ran like a train. So what if one of my headlights went loose and turned around to face me?

It seemed very happy between 85 to 100 mph (had to try) 3750-4000 rpm ish. Accleration on the overtakes (N roads and lorries), once a worry, is now brisk.

So, if nothing else I have a noisy, zippy, attention grabbingly loud Morgan that stands out from the standard ones...and has transported me safely in VERY trying conditions and survived traffic jams and 38 degrees.

The mere fact that it has, with its stage three kit, been so good....makes me think more of you should try it.

Non related observations:

Rear sucker bracket fell off the luggage rack and dented the boot.
I thought I heard the clutch slip once or twice when manoeuvring in a tight area.
