I stuck mine back in with Superglue, then applied a little dry lube to the runners to reduce friction.

It's been fine since.

I used Araldite crystal which said it was suitable for plexiglass. It worked well enough, at least it hasn't come off yet smile , and is bulky enough to compensate for the hole being just a bit bigger than the fitting.
