I think where you went wrong John, is that as a Morgan driver you should have been applying for a free charabanc pass

I didn't see the point of getting mine until herself was due so this year we both got one, although she was eligible last year we never got around to it. I married a younger woman !
The other week we both went to Chelsea - On - Sea (Salcombe) on the bus which did seem a little strange, but a great view from the top deck.
Rather luckily she was born just prior to the old pension rules being applicable and so was I & it makes quite a difference to the State Pension portion of our pensions.

Do you have space in your driveway for the "free bus" or would the Morgan have to go??

Reminds me of some tanned elderlies getting on a Heathrow bus with luggage asking if it was free.... I was somewhat incredulous at the time that someone would want part of their holiday travel to be funded by someone else. Entitlement culture gone mad or am *I* the grumpy git?

John Just to make you feel worse.. London residents over 60 get free travel too (Oyster 60+)
Not only on buses but tube, DLR, overground and some normal trains that accept Oyster. Just one of the many reasons why the Memsahib and I will be moving to the Capital in a couple of years, London is brilliant!!
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg
